Briefing Sessions at the RI
The RI engages with multiple stakeholders in the health sector to discuss and promote the impact of assistive devices and local innovative solutions in prosthetics and orthotics.
Specialized Course on PFP
The practical session of Partial foot prosthesis was held in collaboration with the ICRC and the Human Study Germany e.V to provide Prosthetists and Orthotists in Pakistan with a learning opportunity to adopt best practices in prosthetics and orthotics
Specialized Course on Spinal Orthotics
Spinal scoliosis is a curvature in the spine of persons which can lead to discomfort and severe lifestyle changes. In adolescents however, intervention at the right age can help prevent the spine from deteriorating into a permanent curved position. Specialized course on corrective bracing for spinal scoliosis was organized by the Rehab Initiative with the ICRC and Human Study Germany e.V to allow P&Os to learn and deploy advance Soberheim technique.
Specialized course on TTP
A below-knee amputation is termed as a trans-tibial amputation. Prosthetists and orthotists fabricate trans-tibial prosthesis for people with such an amputation. The RI promotes knowledge sharing in prosthetics and orthotics through various theoretical and practical blended learning sessions. This practical session on advanced trans-tibial prosthetics was conducted with the ICRC and Human Study Germany e.V to provide prosthetists and orthotists with productive training session for P&Os in Pakistan.
